The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) is a unit of local government created in 1997 to enhance all forms of transportation in the Piedmont Triad Region. PART provides inter-city and regional public transportation for the Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point, NC combined statistical area. PART's work is part of a larger statewide effort to improve transportation systems in North Carolina. Since 2006, PART has operated 5 Dodge-built & 32 Orion-built buses.
