Omnitrans is the largest transit operator within San Bernardino County, serving the San Bernardino Valley. The agency was established in 1976 through a joint powers agreement and today includes 15 cities and portions of the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County as well as providing service to parts of Riverside and Los Angeles Counties. Omnitrans currently operates local and express bus routes as well as sbX rapid bus transit service, OmniGo hometown shuttle service, and Access, a paratransit service for the disabled. Since inception, Omnitrans has operated 300 New Flyer-built buses.
