Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) is the primary public transit authority of Miami, Florida, United States and the greater Miami-Dade County area. It is the largest transit system in Florida and the 15th-largest transit system in the United States. MDT operates the rapid transit Metrorail (2 lines), the Downtown Metromover people mover (3 lines), Metrobus (93 fixed routes), and Paratransit (STS) systems. Since 2009, MDT has operated 786 New Flyer-built, 13 MCI-built & 949 Ikarus/NABI/Optima-built buses.
