Central Ohio Transit Authority or COTA is the public transit operator in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. This includes Franklin County as well as portions of neighbouring Delaware, Fairfield and Licking Counties. It operates fixed-route buses, bus rapid transit (CMAX), and paratransit, supplemented by vanpool and rideshare programs offered by other entities.
