The DART Nova RTS RTWFD-82L has a Cummins L10, 280G engine with a ZF-ECOMAT 5HP590 transmission. The fleet numbers are 4300-4349, and 4500-4589. They run on liquefied natural gas, (LNG). The buses wre produced in 1998, 1999. It also has a roof-mounted air conditioner. The engine and transmission seem to make a match in sound by all gear/speeds.

The DART Nova RTS RTWFD-82 has a Cummins ISL engine with a ZF-ECOMAT 5HP590 transmission. The fleet numbers are 4200-4252, 4400-4454, 4600-4742 These were produced in 1999, 2000. They also have roof-mounted air conditioners. They run on LNG, but 5 of the 1998 models run on diesel.

The DART Nova RTS-82 has a Cummins ISL engine with a ZF-ECOMAT 5HP590 transmission. The fleet numbers are 4800-4909, produced in 2000, 2001. They also have roof-mounted air conditioners. They run on LNG.

The DART Nova RTS 82VW has a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine with a ZF-ECOMAT 5HP590 transmission. The fleet numbers are 5500-5544, produced in 2002. It runs on LNG. This fleet does not have roof-mounted air conditioners as the RTS-82, RTWFD-82, and RTWFD-82L. It is located in the back.

The DART Nova RTS 08-WFD has a Detroit Diesel Series 50G engine with a ZF-ECOMAT 5HP590 transmission. The fleet numbers are 5600-5644.It runs on LNG. This fleet does not have roof-mounted air conditioners as the RTS-82, RTWFD-82, and RTWFD-82L. It is located in the back.

The DART North American Bus Industries (NABI) model 416.14 model 2004 has a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine with an Allison B-400R transmission. It runs on ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel, with a back located air conditioner. The fleet numbers are 5700-5789.

The DART bus system has express, rail-feeder, local, suburban, and crosstown routes.
